DATA PROTECTION

Article 13 of the Swiss Federal Constitution, the legal provisions of the Swiss Confederation on data protection and the GDPR – Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, stipulate that everyone has the right to the protection of his or her private sphere as well as the right to protection against the misuse of his or her personal data. DFI Service SA, in close cooperation with its information security department, endeavours to protect its databases as much as possible against external intrusion, loss, misuse and falsification.
The following data is recorded when the website is accessed: IP address, date, time, browser number and information on the operating system or browser.
This data enables DFI Service AG to carry out anonymised statistical evaluations in order to identify trends and improve its services. According to the Federal Law on the Surveillance of Postal and Telecommunications Traffic (LSCPT), there is a legal obligation to store connection data for at least six months.
However, these rules do not apply to voluntary contact. When the e-mail address is recorded, it is stored in a separate database, which has no link with the anonymous log files. It is possible to cancel the registration at any time.
